This screen saver was made from a single painting I created in 2013. It is of the 2017 Midwestern America Eclipse: The first I had ever seen with my own eyes.
During making this painting, I studied the sun in a fiery of heavy drinking and absorbing the sunlight as I peered at it at an angle opposite of its direction from my window. Using the window as a filter to not go blind, I would stare at the sun for about 2 minutes at a time, for about 1-3 hours in total over the span of a half week.
Originally, I painted the sun. I decided I would use over an entire bottle of acrylic paint on the picture. After I made the painting of the sun, I decided that I wanted to paint the moon, however, I was out of surfaces of which I could paint upon, so I used the sun painting and painted right over it. I did it this way, not only due to being out of resources, but also because I saw that the moon did not travel away from the suns edge much at night and I found this strange.
I wanted to signify a stamp in time in my mind that I had observed such a reaction: I am of the bottom 1% in my state on memory in multiple categories of our states IQ test, so I made this picture.
Just an hour or less ago, I decided to make a slideshow out of it using clickteam fusion. Now I present it to you for only $1, however, if you could pay $2.00 that would be truely excellent.
I have had no previous luck in selling artwork online.
If you are in the Madison, Wisconsin area, please be sure to attempt to attend the National Association of Mental Illness' Healing Art Show on October 6th, 6pm-9pm.(Details available on their website.) I am going to be a featured artist with them.
I offer a version of this art in the form of a pair of shoes as well. They can be purchased at https://www.aliveshoes.com/worm-shrews along with many other great deals. (But Worm Shrews shoes are my only design so please purchase a pair! :) Thank you.)
